Helpful macOS Shortcut

Recently a friend was venting about how annoying it is to create individual zip files for a bunch of folders.

I was like, No worries, I got u... my thought was to make a shell script/alias, but then I could immediately sense their response, something along the lines of ...term-a-what-now???.

Hmm, what's the alternative, my requirements are:

• No additional software.
• Should be intuitive or easy.
• Should be maintainable if they need to address any issues or make adjustments.

Then it hit me (more of a gentle slap really)! It was right in front of me the whole time...macOS shortcuts, and a few minutes later (developer minutes of course), we had this beauty:

I was surprised how simple it was to create but more importantly, how easy it was to share and have them using it right away.

To use you would do the following:

1. Select folders that you want to compress.
2. Click the Action button.
3. Select Zip Folders at the bottom of the list.
